Lexington
Bear's Wax-right below Paisley in the same building. Not much punk stuff, but some cool old records and tapes. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
CD Central-Kind of off Limestone in South Hill Station. Used/new record store. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net Carries posters, Moon Ska shirts, mags, comics, cds, vinyl, and stickers. The only place I've ever seen that has a SKA section. They (and Cut Corner) carry local bands too. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
Cut Corner records-can't be but 150ft. from the building that houses Paisley. Big selection of everything(punk, hXc, SKA, rap, country. You name it, they got it). Bootlegs, cd's, vinyl, posters, shirts, indie/major mags, whatever. Good stuff at great prices (listed as used record store, but it has lots of new stuff too. Oh, it's an indie store. I kinda made it sound like it was a Camelot outside of a mall! Sorry) Also carries used/cult movies downstairs -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
SHUT UP AND EAT!-The name says it all. Also near Paisley. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
Paisley Peacock-cool place on South Lime(stone). Kinda hippy (ie hacky sacks, sandals, burkenstocks, hemp stuff) but a big selection of bondage clothes, punk/ska patches/stickers, dr. martens. And some cool chains, etc. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
37 Center- only *liberal* place to put on a show. If interested on putting on shows email revcoco@unidial.com. We be friendly down here...tis a great place to stop on your way. North, south, west or east... we are on the crossroads of I-75 and I-64. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
Tolly Ho- a great dive on the corner on South Limestone (S.Lime). Its the best little ho house in Lexington. Try the ho burger..amazing. -mikeboo@lex.infi.net
